Paddy Donaghy is a professional artist living and working from her studio in North County Dublin. Paddy studied at the College of Art, Jordanstown, Co. Antrim and NCAD Dublin and has been a professional artist since 1989. She paints in both oil and watercolour

Paddy is acclaimed for her sympathetic use of watercolour in landscapes, coastal scenes and flowers in their natural habitat. Her paintings depict the drama and changing moods of nature together with our various patterns of weather systems.

More recently Paddy has returned to oils after a long absence. Her keen observation and innovative flair for the unusual is mirrored in her subjects, ranging from traditional and contemporary crystal decanters, antique telephones and her very successful gambling themes. Other subjects in oils include the Irish Landscape, interiors and coastal scenes for which she shows great empathy.

Paddy has had many solo exhibitions in both the Dublin region with Oisin Art Gallery and nationwide with the Forge Gallery, Collon, Co. Louth.

Paddy exhibits annually at the Kilkenny Arts Festival and Wexford Opera Festival. She also exhibits in commercial galleries throughout Ireland including the RHA and the Oireachtas. Her works are held in many corporate and private collections in Ireland and abroad.
