I ama Dublin painter,working mostly with acrylics and ink on canvas. My paintings are a burst of colour, huge, abstract and graphic. Influenced by comic artwork , cold war sci-fi art and retro posters, I work in brilliant technicolour, creating worlds of geometric labyrinths and crystalline structures. Elements from the natural world appear mechanised and power driven. Bees, flowers and insects are presented as intricate clockwork devices, while ships, trains and aircraft take on a typographic style
